Lauren’s Milk hub was officially opened by local Member of Parliament, Nigel Mills, in October 2021.
The opening of Lauren's Hub, is the result of the outstanding efforts and collaboration between the Founders and the National Lottery
Lauren’s Milk hub is the one and only milk hub in the East Midlands, fully funded by a National Lottery Grant and run in partnership with Chester milk bank
The hub stores milk donated by mothers for use within hospital neonatal intensive care units and to families nationwide. The hub provides safe, screened donor milk.
Donor milk can be life-saving, particularly for premature babies who are at risk of serious life threatening conditions that carry higher mortality rates than childhood leukaemia.
When a mothers milk is not available, donor human milk helps protect babies from these life threatening conditions.
Please use or Contact Us page or email us here if you represent a Milk Bank or NICU.
We must also remeber to offer a huge thanks to Maria and the Team at Notts TV, for covering the opening and helping us to spread the word.

Not forgetting, of course, the Team. East Midlands Freewheelers Volunteers. Without whom, none of this would be possible,
Just some of the Team, who could get to the opening of Laurens Milk Hub
